It's Hunger Action Month

Access to nourishing food is key to a good life. However, the challenge of hunger and food insecurity across the Heartland is growing. Food insecurity rates have increased by 38% for individuals and 56.4% for children. Help us ensure everyone has the nourishment they need to thrive.

Each September, during Hunger Action Month, the Heartland unites for a month-long initative to fight hunger in Nebraska and western Iowa. For this monthly only, friends of the Food Bank, the Michelle & Michael Berlin Family Foundation and David & Jane Offutt, will match all gifts—up to $65,000—to help as many neighbors facing hunger in our community as possible!
