The Foodies is a dedicated guild of supporters working to fight hunger through fundraising, community awareness, and volunteerism. This close-knit group is passionate about the Food Bank’s mission and committed to helping neighbors experiencing food insecurity.

Each September, during Hunger Action Month, the Heartland unites for a month-long initiative to fight hunger in Nebraska and western Iowa. For this month only, friends of the Food Bank, the Michelle & Michael Berlin Family Foundation, David & Jame Offutt and the Chantry Hickey Giving Fund will match all gifts - up to $75,000 - to help as many neighbors facing hunger in our community as possible!
